Stampede!

The Snake River Stampede was back in town.  That means some of the greatest cowboys on earth were here in Nampa.  In addition to these great cowboys, The Snake River Stampede hosted two of the greatest Rodeo Announcers of all time: Bob Tallman and Boyd Polhamus.

Bob Tallman and Boyd PolhamusBob and Boyd also used the great facilities and studio at Peppershock to record voice overs for nationally broadcasted rodeo events.  We were honored to have them here. Happy trails, boys!

In addition to working with Bob, Boyd, and their crew, Peppershock also shot behind the scenes interview with Cowboys for the new Rodeoup.com website.

logoEvery once in a while, we all look into the mirror and realize that we’ve put on a few pounds, our clothes are out of style, and our haircut hasn’t changed since high school.  That’s when it’s time for a makeover!  Sticking with the core elements, we took our brand and freshened it up a little.  It’s now more dynamic, useable, and stylish…all qualities important in a good brand.

In case you were wondering, and we often get asked this question… where did the name “Peppershock” come from?  Well, Peppershock is a derivative of Rhea’s maiden name, “Peppersack”  (Rhea is our President / CEO)  and with a name like Peppersack, no one could forget, so we figured no one would forget Peppershock… that and the domain name www.peppershock.com was available!  So check out our new “look & feel,” see what we’ve been up to on our website, and check out our blog & post comments – let us know what you think!

::Marketing Gem of the Month::

Do you remember the age-old saying: “honesty is the best policy?”  Well, it’s true…especially in business.  Take this example above, who wouldn’t want to buy a watch from this vendor, if not just to say you did?  Take Fairly Reliable Bob’s as another example, their name alone translates honesty in a humorous way.

When you are honest with your customers and associates, you will come out on top every time. Let your contacts know about your commitment to honesty and integrity and they will continue to do business with you.  We’ve found that always to be true here at Peppershock.
