2008 Pix Theatre Gala
The Pix Theatre Foundation is hosting its 2nd annual gala

Where: Hispanic Cultural Center, Nampa
Time: 6:00pm
The event features a special evening with invigorating entertainment, cuisine and unique auction items. This year’s theme will be “Date Night: How it all Began.”
Special guests include, Dawn Wells who played Mary Anne on the classic hit show Gilligan’s Island. Larry Gebert, from KTVB Channel 7, will be hosting the evening’s events.

Peppershock supports Nampa service clubs, by capturing the club members creations on film. The service club films premiered at the Nampa Chamber Luncheon, on Wednesday April 16th, 2008 and The Nampa Rotary won $1000 to use toward a service project of their choice. FILM BILL PASSES ON APRIL 1
Governor Butch Otter signed the HOUSE BILL NO. 592 on Tuesday, April 1. This legislation establishes a program to grow the media production industry in Idaho. The Dept. of Commerce would utilize the program as an economic stimulus and to develop a
media industry workforce by providing a cash rebate on specific Idaho expenditures on qualified media production projects.
