Shocktoberfest a Success!
Thanks to all who partook in the Shocktoberfest-ivities. The 5th anniversary was a spooky good time. The night was filled with witches, and ghouls. FESTIVAL OF TREES
Saint Alphonsus’ Festival of Trees will hold its 25th Anniversary Celebration from November 26th thru the 30th at the Boise Center on the Grove. Over the past 25 years, the event has raised over $5 million dollars for the improvement of healthcare in the area. Peppershock is working on a few different projects to help promote the event, including the commercials airing on TV now and a video created to pay tribute to the founders. It will be shown at the Gala. After Thanksgiving dinner, let’s all go out and support this great cause.

PEPPERSHOCK AWARDED GRANT!
In the past month, Peppershock was awarded a grant for a collaborative project with Nampa Family Justice Center. The “Smart Women Grant” from Zions Bank was presented to Rhea Allen on Oct. 16 at the “Smart Women, Smart Money” conference, along with Lynn Marie Adams and Trinity Jackson. The three women were the only Idaho winners and were selected from 144 Idaho and Utah applicants. The grant will be used to create a video intended to generate awareness and funds for NFJC’s victims’ services for the next year. 
The Nampa Family Justice Center is a not-for-profit group consisting of 15 agencies that provide consolidated and coordinated legal, social and health services to victims of violence and their families. Thank you to Zions Bank for making this project possible.
