All About the Benjamin

headlineimageMaster of American aphorisms, Benjamin Franklin said “America can no more survive and grow without big business than it can survive and grow without small business.”

Now that we are in the second quarter of 2009, Franklin’s sentiment comes once more into sharply acute relevance. As banks and big businesses report record losses and bankruptcy, the small business owner finds a new opportunity in our changing economic landscape to re-assert himself as an integral part of the economy. Now is the time to take advantage with a brilliant new promotional campaign or an eye-grabbing commercial.

So, as the season changes and life renews itself across the country side, think about what you can do to renew or build your own small business. Bring your ideas, or find some new ones with us here at Peppershock Media. We specialize in breathing new life into the same old business concepts.

The Value of Professional Design

Have you ever wondered “why pay good money for a graphic designer when I can make my own design?” If you have and even followed up with this line of thinking, you probably found out in short order exactly why a great graphic designer is worthy of every penny you spend on their highly specialized service.

So, what does a graphic designer do? For starters, they make your company look better! And don’t believe that axiom of not judging books by their covers; it’s a simple and sad fact that people do, and despite however much more superior your services are than your competitors, most customers won’t even give you a chance or a second look if your competitor has a more shiny veneer.

For an in-depth look at this principle and many others regarding the value of good design, come to Peppershock for a crash course on design, provided to you by our team of graphic designers and artists.
