President’s Letter December 2014

By December 9, 2014October 5th, 2017blog

“How different our lives are when we really know what is deeply important to us; and keeping that picture in mind, we manage ourselves each day to do what really matters most.” – Stephen R. Covey, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

The holidays are here and I can’t wait to share all of the exciting things we have in store for next year. But before we look ahead, I would like to reflect on some of the highlights of 2014.

Most recently we completed a video for the Idaho Stampede Basketball team. We built a set in our studio and dusted off the fog machine. Check out the video here, and if you are interested in attending a game, Peppershock has court-side seats.  Just let us know and we can find a date to attend! Next game is December 19th. GO STAMPEDE!

Oracle, Inc., a fortune 100 company, has added Peppershock to their list of preferred vendors. We truly enjoy producing creative work for our list of contacts at Oracle and look forward to doing more work in the future.

Our Idaho Wine Documentary is hopefully going to be featured in the Sun Valley Film Festival where (fingers crossed) it will make its premiere. We have been hard at work and really look forward to sharing Idaho’s Wine Awesomeness with the world. Cheers!

The “Krazy Coupon Lady” has been taking us to Costco, Whole Foods, Target and other retailers around the valley, shooting segments on shopping tips for their blog. These ladies are crazy for our videos, as having professionally shot and edited videos makes all the difference in the audience’s perception of authenticity.

We have added two new crew members to the Peppershock team. Shonna Adams joins us as a Bookkeeper, and Matthew McEntire joins us from Boise State as our Marketing Intern.

And finally, our entire team has been hard at work creating an animated video that will debut at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, December 20th. United Heritage Insurance is the presenting sponsor of the game and we can’t wait for you to see what we are up to.

Now as far as what is in store for next year…

Check out our Marketing Trends Workshop this coming January. Two dates to choose from: January 8th 8:00 a.m. at Fisher’s Technology at 8am or January 15th 1:30pm at Peppershock Media Office and Studios, (followed by the Nampa Chamber Business after-hours event 5:30p.m. also at Peppershock Media on Jan. 15th). Rhea Allen will take an in-depth look at the marketing trends for 2015 and Chris Taylor of Fisher’s Technology will talk about: Identifying and Hiring the Best Employees and Culture and Strategic Execution at Fisher’s. Steve Scranton of Washington Trust Bank will be answer; “How Do the Northwest Economies Compare to the National Economy?”

Something else to look forward to in the new year… we’re expecting… expecting to grow that is…haha! Made you look! We are looking for new opportunities to expand outside the area and work with more national and international clientele, leveraging and building upon our existing national exposure and clientele. A lot of wonderful doors are opening for us and if you think you know of someone that could make a perfect client for us, we are seeking. With all this growth we will be hiring again soon… be thinking of great creative, gifted and talented people to send our way!

I hope the holiday season finds you well. We are so thankful for all of our wonderful clients and crew. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New year to you!

Cheers!
