Rhea“There are three constants in life… Change, choice and principles.” –Stephen R. Covey.

Spring is officially here. Hasn’t the sun been wonderful lately? It seems to bring a spring to our steps and a sparkle in our smiles after a cold winter. Last time I wrote we had just received the good news about our documentary film, Idaho Wine, From Bud to Taste Bud making it into the Sun Valley Film Festival and I’d love to say thank you to all who made #SVFF2015 a success!TheaterSeats

The movie premiered at the nexStage Theatre in Ketchum, Idaho to an almost full house and received positive praise and review. After the movie, the celebration continued over at the Silver Creek Fine Art Gallery where supporters viewed art, discussed the movie, ate delicious finger food provided by Zee Christopher Catering, and tasted wonderful wine from Indian Creek Winery. A huge thanks to Silver Creek Fine Art Gallery and to Jessica Bower Blake for all your help! More pictures of the evening here.

In case you’re wondering about the movie and whether or not to get your copy or digital download, check out reviews that have BigGroupShot_smaller1come from across the nation about the Idaho Wine movie.

“In a bit more than an hour, Idaho Wine [, From Bud to Taste Bud] tells the story of the burgeoning wine industry…” –Andy Perdue, Great Northwest Wine

“It gives an overview of the enological history, details the terroir and common varietals, and marries it all with vignettes about the grape growers and winemakers themselves… If there is a central theme to Idaho Wine [, From Bud to Taste Bud], it is that of community. The winemakers, the growers, and the consumers: they are a proud, tight-knit group–by necessity.” –Eric Annino, Terroirist

For these and other reviews about the movie check out our Big News post on idahowinedocumentary.com. Also in case you missed it there’s a link to the recording of director Drew Allen’s interview with Rob Barnett from VinVillage Radio. Rob says “Very enjoyable. You could just feel the pioneering spirit in the people,” as he gives praise to Drew for sharing the movie.

Fortunately, March hasn’t been all wine (although we do love that it keeps us busy).Conradsimplot We’ve also stayed busy working with clients and creating websites like the one we did for Blind Appeal, producing videos for A1 Plumbing and Perfect Air, and even getting to work on some super secret stuff for Simplot that will be released next month.

Hopefully the springtime has been amazing for you as well.

Many thanks,

–Rhea
