“ Most of us spend too much time on what is urgent and not enough time on what is important.” – Stephen R. Covey, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
I look forward to our annual Pow-Wow every year. It is a chance for us to get away from the everyday routines and shake things up a bit. It is also awesome to focus on the important things – what makes Peppershock, Peppershock and how we can continue to grow our business and make it the best it can be. This year’s Pow-Wow did not disappoint. From working on our elevator pitch to discovering our perfect client, it was time well spent. And now we are ready to move forward with new ideas to best serve you, our clients. We’ve been busy this summer and we have some exciting events to plan for in the next couple of months:
Earlier this summer we tee’d up for the annual Nampa Rotary’s Golf For Hope Tournament. Steve Brandes, president of Idaho Stampede Basketball joined us. Tourney highlights: our Graphic Designer, Erick, almost got the longest putt, and I almost got the longest drive for women (but it was off the fairway and Drew wouldn’t let me count it). The tournament benefits local nonprofits: Hope House, Nampa Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army and other youth groups in the area.
Coming this fall…don’t miss my Webinar, Video SEO, What You Don’t Know Will Hurt Your Website, webcasting on September 16th at 12:00p.m. MT. We’ve always been experts when it comes to video production but now we have new exciting ways to get your video out there. We have another learning opportunity coming up this fall at our annual Shocktoberfest – Client Appreciation event and workshop. I’m working on my costume, any guesses as to what I am wearing? We are adding an exciting twist this year and will host a workshop beforehand with a spooky theme. Look for more info in the coming months.
Come and see me at the “Trailhead” in Boise. I will be giving FREE marketing consultations on Monday, September 7th from 3:00-5:00 pm.
And finally, we are planning another screening of Idaho Wine from Bud to Taste Bud, at Crossings Winery in Glenns Ferry November, stay tuned for more details.
Hopefully you are finding time to enjoy what is left of the summer and taking a moment to work on the important things in life.
If you have any marketing needs in the near future contact us we would love to sit down and create a plan with you.
