President’s Letter – March 2017

By March 8, 2017January 17th, 2020blog, Business, Marketing

“Look at the same thing as everyone else and think something different.”

-Albert Szent-Gyorgyi

This month we’ve stayed busy with some fun-filled projects! Although I caught the sickness bug at one point, I was still able to bounce back quickly and get my groove on again. At this point, I am ready to tackle anything. Okay, almost anything.

Investors Choice Venture Capital Conference

This month, we’re proud to sponsor our client VentureCapital.org’s annual event, the Investor’s Choice Venture Capital Conference. Entrepreneurs from high-technology and high-growth companies presented their business opportunities to local, regional and national investors. It was an excellent turn out! 27 companies presented to investors/VCs/Angels from all over the country! The keynote speaker at lunch was inspirational speaker Rudy Ruettiger. I was inspired and he had an awesome positive message for us!

Inn at 500 Capitol & Richards

I would like to take this moment to say congratulations to the Inn at 500 Capitol & Richard’s Restaurant for a splendid grand opening weekend! We were so thrilled to be a part of such a monumental contribution to the great state of Idaho. We always love seeing our clients succeed and conquer. Not only is the Inn at 500 Capitol one of the best boutique hotel in Boise, but Richard’s Restaurant is also second to none (Also, they’re taking reservations). Watching it all unfold has been a rewarding experience!

Banff Mountain Film Festival

It’s always nice when Peppershock sponsors something cool, and it’s even more amazing when it’s a sell out crowd! I attended the Banff Mountain FIlm Festival at the Egyptian Theatre in Boise, and it was fantastic as always!

The Studio Has a New Upgrade!

Drew built us a new pallet backdrop in our studio and it is awesome! The studio looks so new and fresh! I can’t wait to show it off! The crew will be taking new headshots, so stay tuned and see how awesome the background looks with smiling faces. For now though, here is a little sneak peak!

Final Thoughts

Lastly, if you find yourself looking at something the same way others do, think different. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable and don’t let it rest until the better is best even when it’s not a popular thought or opinion or tactic or tool. Healthy conflict is good conflict and know that resistance to change will bring challenge. Challenge can be used for good in more ways than one, and can lead to many great things… but only if you let it.

Think different! Problems and issues are just opportunities waiting to happen!

It’s always an adventure!

Many thanks!
