“No one wants me down more than I want up!” –Molly Brown, Survivor of the Titanic

Hello friends! It’s finally spring, my favorite time of the year! Another month has passed by and a lot has happened. First, I want to say that the Peppershock crew has been having so much fun working on projects and attending fun-filled events for some great causes.

We’ve Been Nominated!

Peppershock has been selected by the Boise Metro Chamber’s 2017 Small Business of the Year Award. We are so excited to see the outcome! We’re also nominated as one of the best PR and Ad Agencies in Idaho. Wow, what an honor! Thank you Idaho Business Review for the nomination, we are so humbled to even be considered amongst the top.

We’re Crazy About Fries!

We’ve been hanging out at the Boise Fry Company –Nampa lately, we are so proud to be working with them. Taking photos and filming has been great fun! We even got a relaxed lunch and drinks out of the deal.  We manage the social media for the Nampa and Meridian locations, but if you haven’t yet, you should go check out the rooftop deck at the Nampa location. You can see Peppershock from across the street, as well as a great view of downtown Nampa. It’s a great atmosphere to be in, especially now that the weather has warmed up. We can finally wear our sunglasses again!

Events, Events, Events!

Drew and I had a fantastic time at the Telaya Wine Co. Of course we sipped on some wine, but most importantly, we supported the Kif Brown Foundation. The Kif Brown Foundation is an awesome organization that raises awareness for cancer survivors that are facing a difficult diagnosis. Speaking of great causes, Peppershock attended and helped promote a Boise Benefit Show at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place. We got to see Orny Adams, a hilarious comedian, and we also helped raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Wine, Dine, Be Kind

Rotary Club of Nampa is hosting a Benefit Event that we like to call “Wine, Dine, Be Kind.” All proceeds will go to The Shoe That Grows. My friend and Rotarian Kenton Lee started a non-profit organization called Because International. He was able to invent a shoe for struggling communities that can’t be outgrown. It’s genius! People all over the world are suffering from diseases and parasites caused from people not having shoes to wear. Kids feet always grow and this shoe is able to fit them as their feet grow. We are encouraging all people to come and support the Wine, Dine, Be Kind event benefiting the Shoe That Grows, presented by the Rotary Club of Nampa. Save the date! May 13th, 2017 at the Rodeo Club (Ford Idaho Center) at 5:30 PM. Come join Rotary Club for a raffle, silent auction, and fun! Dinner will be served! Tickets will go on sale and available for purchase soon at www.namparotary.org.
