Can you believe autumn is finally here? I want to update you on all of the positive changes and fun that we had this month, as well as let you know about the awesome events we have planned in October.
Shocktoberfest
I’m looking forward to the second season premiere of Stranger Things! My whole family watches the show together and we are huge fans! With all of the buzz surrounding the show, we decided to make Stranger Things this year’s theme for Shocktoberfest. The Peppershock video crew is currently in production on “The People of Planet Earth: A Shocktoberfest Tale.” Watch out for the two part video series coming soon on our social media. Pay close attention, there are plenty of 80’s Easter Eggs hidden throughout.
I’m inviting you to avoid the demogorgons! Drop by the Peppershock studio and we’ll snap your pic for our Halloween costume contest. There will be prizes for the best costume! After the festivities, you can vote for your favorite costume on our Facebook page. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos! We will also have a special screening of the new Stranger Things episode in our conference room. After hanging out at Peppershock headquarters, you can join us across the street on the Roofdeck at Boise Fry Company. We will be serving ghoulish eats, treats and boo-oze. RSVP and celebrate with us!

Second Location Grand Opening
Peppershock has officially opened a second office in Salt Lake City. After months of planning, Drew and I cut the ribbon at our grand opening. We are so excited to expand our brand and build relationships with new clients. Thank you Pamela Berry (Peppershock’s newest crew member and Brand Experience Executive), Murray Area Chamber of Commerce, our Utah clients, vendors, partners and new business friends who joined us in our celebration. While in Salt Lake, my family also had the chance to go to SLC Comic Con, where we all got to see Dick Van Dyke, Rob Schneider and a lot of awesome cosplay characters, including the characters of Stranger Things. Cheers to new opportunities!

We will be hosting a meet and greet in Salt Lake alongside our Brand Experience Executive, Pamela Berry. If you are in the area, stop by and discover what Peppershock is all about. I will also be giving a presentation on how to get a return on your marketing investments.

Rotary Club
Thanks to the Nampa Rotary Club, we have twelve Little Free Libraries coming to Nampa! With Little Free Libraries placed around the city, everyone is welcome to grab a book and leave a book behind to share. I am so proud to be apart of an organization where I’m able to serve the community. The best part of Rotary is serving alongside individuals who all have a heart of gold (like our own Tracie McConnell). If you are a nampa resident, keep a lookout for these unique libraries!
Meridian Business Days
This month, I was able to serve on a panel discussing our company culture to help kick-off Meridian Business Days. I’m a busy woman and it gets overwhelming at times (like most professions) but I love what I do! I am proud to be the CEO of a small business with a culture like ours. It’s not often when you find a small business with a wacky crew, fun team building activities and lots of workplace celebrations. Raise your glass for the Peppershockers!

This quote really hit home for me because it caused me to reflect on my life right now. I started an agency that has been in business for fourteen years now, and we have had the incredible opportunity to open a second location. We work with amazing clients every day and continue to build these relationships. I feel like I’m making a difference through Peppershock, leadership and being involved in Rotary Club. To top it all off, I have a great family to be proud of. Things are looking up! October is going to bring a lot of joy to my life and everyone around me!
