Happy December Peppershock Peeps!

Winter is approaching and tree branches everywhere will soon be bare. Sigh. Autumn doesn’t last long enough. Did everyone have a fun Thanksgiving? I celebrated the holiday with my family and there was more than enough turkey to go around. I spent this month catching up with old friends and drinking Flying M Coffee, of course.

Trivia Night at Grimaldi’s

I’ve always been a fan of trivia and attend trivia nights at Flying M whenever I’m able. One of our awesome clients, Grimaldi’s, started hosting family trivia nights. You can almost always find some of the Peppershock crew throwin’ down some trivia knowledge! Wine, pizza and prizes! We have had so much fun challenging our brains and working together as a team. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is located at the Village in Meridian. Bring your family or friend group every other Monday at 6PM. Watch for the dates on Grimaldi’s social media. Come up with your own team name and make sure to say “Hi” to the Peppershockers!

Canyon County Festival of Trees

The best way to kick off the Christmas season is attending the Festival of Trees! This was a great way for the community to come together and pull off a fundraiser for the Meals on Wheels Program. The LEGO tree donated by Dutch Bros. Coffee of Canyon County was my favorite, followed by the “Home Tweet Home” tree. There was even a tree based on Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and a tree dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. If you have the opportunity to go to the Festival of Trees in the future, I highly recommend it!

MythBusters at the Discovery Center

The Discovery Center in Boise has opened an exhibition based on MythBusters. I took my family and we had an adventurous day exploring interesting myths. We even got to put some of those myths to the test. I recommend everyone in the Boise area to check out this cool exhibit before it’s too late!

Bike Before Winter Hits!

This month, I biked the greenbelt with my family. It was nice to get some outdoor exercise in before it’s too late! I am hoping that we won’t have another Snowmageddon. I started to become a little cautious about the snow after our studio flooded last year. For the record, our studio is fine and fully recovered.

Short Film Presentation at JUMP

Peppershock had a great time presenting at the Boise screening of a short film we had the privilege of working on called “The Navigator: One Man’s Epic Celebration of Living.” The film was produced by the Kif Brown Foundation. Seeing our work on the big screen at JUMP Boise was a great experience.

Save the date! The 3rd Annual Kif Brown Foundation Wine Auction Fundraiser is April 7, 2018 at the Telaya Wine Co.
