Times, they are a-changin’

A message from Rhea Allen

It’s almost hard to believe, but summer is nearly over as we approach Labor Day Weekend. Here at Peppershock, we have so many things to be thankful for along with awesome memories to look back on with a smile.

Peppershock Annual Pow-Wow

As we near Q3 each year, we get together to discuss our goals, wins & losses, and process improvements to implement in order to best serve our clients and make Peppershock as great as ever. The central theme of our meeting was adapted from Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,  where we prioritize our “big rocks”  that we want to focus on moving into the end of the year and beyond.

Following the in-house meetings, Peppershock Media embarked on our annual 9th PowWow retreat. Staff, family, and dogs alike gathered together at Sheep Trail Campground, just miles away from Stanley, Idaho in the shadow of the magnificent Sawtooth Mountains. We may not have had the best weather in the world, but great company and hearty food supplied by the one and only Drew Allen kept us warm during the wet and thunderous nights. We had a “hail” of a time!

Is it time for school already?!

Continuing on the theme of time flying by, I am reminded just how precious my family is to me! My oldest son, Emerson, is now a FRESHMAN in high school, playing football at Nampa High School while attending Idaho Arts Charter School through dual enrollment. He just celebrated his 14th birthday and will be taking Drivers Ed in January. My youngest son, Kaden, started 6th grade and will be taking on the big, bad world of middle school and is playing Nampa Pal football. I can’t believe how grown-up my once “little boys” have become and look forward to what this year has to offer them.
