Seasons of Change

A message from Rhea Allen

The transition from summer to fall in the Treasure Valley is truly a sight to behold. Burnt ambers, crimsons, and vivid yellows dot the landscape as the long summer nights turn into cool, crisp mornings. As the seasons change, the pace and speed of our own lives appear to match pace as well. Fall is a fun time for us here at Peppershock, for a number of reasons. For one, I get to watch my boys play football and participate in all of their extracurricular activities.

Another reason I love this time of the year is that it reminds me of a time when Drew and I founded Peppershock Media sixteen years ago ( I know, crazy right?!). It’s an important time for both of us as well as our entire staff, as we are able to reflect back on our history, be present in the here and now, and look forward to the future.

Part of that celebration is commemorated by our annual celebration of Shocktoberfest! The annual event at our office here in Nampa is equal parts of client appreciation, staff celebration, and community engagement. We always decorate the office and invite people from all over to come together, dress up, and have a little fun. Needless to say, this year was no exception as we celebrated our 10th Annual Shocktoberfest. We had some of our food and drinks provided by one of our clients Boise Fry Co., there was ax throwing from Section 37, as well as treats and goodies provided by our very own Terri Novak and Lorriane Fisher. For those of you who showed up, we appreciate you! A wonderful time was had by all, as evidenced by our wonderful photographs from Brian.

So as the colors change from gold to silver, we look forward to celebrating with you again, next year for Shocktoberfest!

Keep up with us on our blog!

Pumpkin Spice-it’s #basically everywhere, but why though?

Pumpkins have been around for a while (5,000 years) and spices have been around for a while too (maybe longer). But why is pumpkin spice everywhere now, and why is it such a polarizing issue?
