2,020 ways to spread joy
A message from Rhea Allen
Life has a pretty powerful way of distracting us, surprising us, and keeping us humble (if we are willing). And those things that you THOUGHT you were going to be worried about at the beginning of this year? Well, I don’t need to tell you the rest; you already know how that worked out!
Everyone is talking a lot about gratitude and being thankful this year, and they’re all correct. This year has blessed us with SO many things, beyond character-building “unprecedented” stuff!
I could go on all day about how blessed I have been to get to see more of the little men in my house (guess who has their license!) and becoming the great people they are going to be, how grateful I am to have had Drew, my family and friends by my side (sometimes figuratively, social distancing yo!) but I’d like to talk about the opportunities and blessings outside the walls of my home and business.
COVID-19 has been acting kind of like a tornado; razing one house here, one house there, maybe a whole street there, and then skipping over others, leaving them unscathed. For some industries, it actually blessed them with rain and invited them to flourish, while decimating others. It’s been terrible, and terribly unpredictable.
So if you are like me and my family, and the tornado only threw some of your patio furniture around and left you with some hail damage, won’t you join me and be part of 2,020 ways to spread joy this year?
So many families have been impacted by this terrible situation, and businesses have too! That’s why I am asking everyone to see where you can help, see how you can be the blessing in someone’s life, and give generously (when and in what way you can!) to our local community and non-profits who have been hit so hard this year.
If you need a little help finding the right fit for your talents, treasure, or time, please reach out and I’d be happy to talk to you about some of the organizations and businesses that I am passionate about this year.
Have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season, from the Allens, and everyone at Peppershock Media!

Social Media Marketing Demystified
How do you use social media in your marketing, and do it the right way?
Why do you need social media to market your business, and how do you know if you’re doing it “right?”
Social Media can feel confounding, frustrating, trifling, or even fickle to master, and this frustration can often cause many business owners and companies to abandon their strategies or continue to struggle with it. They may find it difficult to justify the time investment or expense of hiring on or hiring out…
