It’s the year we’ve all been waiting for!
A message from Rhea Allen
So the year that we thought would never come is here, and now that we have flipped the calendar over and taken some deep breaths, how are we going to move forward?
As I have said, we’ve all had the last year hand us a different kind of bag. The pandemic has impacted us all differently, but the one thing we all have in common is that it has impacted us all.
Introverts unite, extroverts rock back and forth in the fetal position, and the rest of us continue to balance our work-from-home yoga pants with our “oh crap, I have to turn my camera on” moments of terror.
So what’s changing in your world for 2021?
For many of us, it might not be much! We’re still getting work done remotely, virtually, or socially distanced. We know that some of the events and activities that we so enjoyed a year ago are still a ways off. School and sports and vacation plans are still touch and go, and we just don’t know when this is all just going to go away, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel as we step (carefully!) into 2021, and it’s NOT a train!
So if there aren’t going to be too many BIG changes, how are you going to be making 2021 all the year it can be, regardless of what happens?
I’m focusing on what I CAN do. The time I can spend with my boys, the adventures I can safely go on, the people I can meet (virtually), the small businesses I can support, the ways I can grow personally and professionally, and beyond.
We’re going to continue to enhance and perfect our virtual options for businesses and organizations, help them build their brand and bottom line, and support this community we call home. As parents, Drew and I are going to continue to do the best we can navigating the rest of the school year with our boys, and enjoying the extra extra extra special time we all get to spend together (WiFi, don’t fail me now!) under one roof, and set and get those goals for personal and professional development, regardless of what the new year brings.
If 2020 was just practice, then we definitely GOT this!
So Happy New Year to you, yours, your businesses, and your organizations, and let’s get ready to grow together in 2021!

Cascade Idaho Chamber of Commerce
When the Cascade Chamber of Commerce was looking for a marketing agency to partner with, they knew they needed an agency who understood “the little guy.” An agency that could appreciate all the little things that make small towns special, and who understood the needs of all the small businesses and organizations in the area too.
Since partnering with Peppershock Media, Cascade has experienced the kind of growth they were looking for, where it really matters; number of tourists and heads in beds. We were able to bring what makes Cascade, Idaho special and memorable to life, while still honoring the values that residents and local business owners hold dear.
Peppershock has enjoyed working with the Cascade Chamber ever since 2012. The town and surrounding areas have so much to offer in the way of outdoor recreation and more, year-round. To learn more about how we work with Cascade, please click here to check out our case study on the Peppershock website.

Online Crowdsourcing vs Agency
We’ve all done it; bought the cheapest item because we were confident that we’d found a great bargain. But the happy dance ends abruptly when we have to return five seconds later, disgruntled, to purchase said item again, only this time, the higher quality version that will endure.
Being thrifty is an exceptional quality. But there is a time and a place to score a deal, and then there is a time and place to invest in something of quality that lasts.
