“Being gifted creates obligations, which means you owe the world your best effort at the work you love. You too are a natural resource.” — Barbara Sher
At Peppershock Media we strive to give the world our best effort at the work we love, and we couldn’t do it without you. A huge thank you everyone who came to our annual Shocktoberfest open house and workshop! It was a pleasure hosting an event for the people that have kept us in business for 13 amazing years. We barely recognized you; the costumes were great! Below are some pictures from the event. See the rest on Facebook!
As you may know, to kickstart the evening, we held our second annual Shocktoberfest Business Success workshop. It was such a huge success that we’re doing it again! Join us on Thursday, December 8 from 7:30–11:30am where we’ll share how to get your best ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment). Melissa Callahan and I will help you focus in on the best marketing strategies, while author Nick Anderson, from The Crispian Advantage will talk about integrating sales and customer facing activities. Want to network? Walk away with new connections at our structured networking event to follow. Get all the details and register to attend at www.peppershock.com/events. Breakfast and beverages will be served, so come hungry!
Eager to get started right away? For social media marketing tips, see our latest blog post, 5 Keys to Social Media Success. In it, Melissa Callahan unveils the secrets you need to be social media savvy!
While you’re visiting our site, check out our latest work! We’ve been busy little bees here at Peppershock cooking up fresh logos and interesting content. One of our highlights this month has been working with CEO and founder of Givent, Executive Network, Jon Bailey. His bright new logo is sure to grab your attention!
Another exciting project we have in the works is The Great Northwest Expo (GNOE)! At this interactive event being held in August of 2017, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all things outdoors related! From fly fishing activities, to an ATV track, there will be something for everyone! Learn more, as well as how to become a sponsor, at northwestoutdoorexpo.com. Make sure to follow GNOE on Facebook for outdoor news and event updates.
Another highlight–our latest film, “The Navigator” played at the Friday Harbor Film Festival, where Drew and I got to attend and participate as filmmakers. We had a fabulous time in the San Juan Islands! If you ever want a great cause to contribute to, the Kif Brown Foundation is one I would encourage you to look at!
Last but not least, we gave and received more community support at this year’s annual Boise Young Professionals (BYP) Gala. At the Gala, we reflected on BYP’s 10 years in the community, celebrated successes and recognized outstanding young professionals with the Idaho Young Professional Awards. We were joined by some of our very own clients and friends as well, including Ron Price and Nichole MacDowell from Price-Associates, Chris and Carmen Hunt from ProCare Medical Equipment, Ben Quintana (founder of BYP), and entrepreneur Jason Crawforth. Visit the BYP website here.
Happy Thanksgiving! And remember, “Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best.” ― Tim Duncan
