President’s Letter | November 2017

Happy November Peppershock peeps!

We are slowly approaching the end of the year. Is it too early to make New Year’s resolutions already? Even though I spent a lot of time traveling back and forth between multiple states, October was a month full of fun that made every moment worth it! I am happy to be in a position where I can venture out and try new things. October was a month of constant learning!

Adobe Max

I had the privilege to attend Adobe Max in Las Vegas. I was one of four Peppershockers in a sea of 12,000 creative people from all over the world. This inspiring conference was a fun way for the crew to learn how to implement new tools and strategies. We were able to listen to so many amazing motivational speakers, and Pamela Berry, Peppershock’s very own Brand Experience Executive, even taught a class. This was a trip of celebration! Drew and I have now been in business for fourteen years! Happy Workversary to our Art Director, Angie Scobby who has been with Peppershock for ten years.

WeRoc

I was able to attend another event specifically for female entrepreneurs like me. Our awesome clients, Venture Capital hosted this conference. I spent a full day listening to successful speakers, meeting new people and networking. Going straight from Adobe Max to the WeRoc Conference was just the mixture I needed to be inspired. Shout out to all of the strong women out there who are making new strides every day!

Shocktoberfest

If you read my President’s Letter from October, you may know that I was super excited for the season 2 premier of Stranger Things. The new season officially dropped the day of Shocktoberfest and I have been spending my family nights watching. If you haven’t seen Stranger Things, the Allen family and the Peppershock crew highly recommend it!

Shocktoberfest was a success! With all of the Stranger Things excitement, we decided to make it this year’s theme. Since I had a prior commitment in Salt Lake the day of Shocktoberfest, I drove five hours back to Peppershock headquarters on the same day. What’s the first thing I did when I arrived? I put on my Wonder Woman costume of course! You can see everyone’s costumes on our Facebook page and vote for your favorite. Contest winners will receive a prize!
