“And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been.” – Rainer Maria Rilke

But before we welcome 2016 let’s take a minute to reflect back on 2015. It’s been a rollercoaster year with plenty of highs and lows; I guess that’s what makes a rollercoaster exciting, right? We had a few changes in our team with a couple people moving on to new chapters but luckily we made some great additions as well. Our most recent has been Natalie, who started with us as an Intern from Boise State earlier in the Fall but has done such an amazing job we thought we’d ask her to stick around. Another big addition to the team was our drone, clients love the cinematic aerial shots and it’s really fun to fly.

We also held a few screenings of our movie Idaho Wine, From Bud to Taste Bud with great reception. It’s not too late to get your copy; it makes a great stocking stuffer this time of year. Our next screening will be at Crossings Winery in Glenns Ferry, if you still haven’t made plans for Valentine’s Day we suggest a fun night out with delicious Idaho wine, great food and a fascinating movie.

So I welcome 2016 and all the potential that it holds. Starting off I’ll have plenty of opportunities to share why videos are crucial for your 2016-marketing plan.  If you want to stay competitive in this online world you won’t want to miss my January 20 workshop at the Small Business Development Center. The topic will be Top 5 Business Video to Invest In, register here.

Speaking of your 2016 marketing plan, if there are still gaps or you’re looking for something different,  give us a call. Our full service agency can act as an extension of your marketing department or as tools that can aid in your plan. From video and search engine optimization to graphic design and content creation, we’ve got you covered. See our marketing packages here or call to set up an appointment.

And save the date for my other two speaking engagements, the first is January 27 at the Nampa Entrepreneur Organization where I’ll get to moderate a panel of three Nampa entrepreneurs on “Lessons from the Trenches.” More information available on their Facebook page as we get closer to the date. The other will be a Unite Networking + Peppershock workshop on February 25 here at Peppershock. More information coming soon, save the date!

Peppershock Media, Happy Holidays 2015To close I want to say thank you to everyone that helped make 2015 a successful and amazing year. The one thing we love more than the work we do is the clients we do it for. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here at Peppershock Media.
